Addon Domains

Addon domains allow you to control multiple domains from a single account. An addon domain links a new domain name to a subdirectory of your account's public_html (document root) directory, and then stores its files in that subdirectory.

Accessing your Addon Domains

First, you will need to access your cPanel account. If you do not know how to access your account, you can find out here.

Once you are logged into your cPanel, navigate to the Domains section. You should now see the Addon Domains app. Click this to get started.

Once the app loads, you should see the screen is divided into two sections.

You will also see a list of any previously added Addon domains.

Propagation

Any time that your DNS zone file is altered, there is a delay before the DNS is updated on DNS servers around the globe. While We advise that you allow for 24 hours before the records are fully propagated worldwide, this process typically completes within four to six hours.
